The Castanets - First Lights Freeze (Nov 22/05)

I love finding new wierd obscure things. For not having posted in awhile (yet again) here's a track that pretty much describes my overall feelings over the past week. Alot of crazy shite's been going down. I miss my friends. Anyhoo...check it out here. It's unfortunately not out til the 22nd for those of you that wanna rush out & buy it. (Support the pink clan!!)

On a side note...NIN looks pretty likely to be booked here in Saskatoon after they finish the Canadian tour. It'll be just them (no Queens or Death From Above) but goody gumdrops, $50 gets me on the floor & rockin out a second time! I have every dread crossed for this one to happen!! Speaking of which it's t-minus 9 days before I get another musical experience of a lifetime..& possibly a night at the Hilton in Cowtown for $50...yeah she's got SWEET connections.

....oh & this bloke here is the frontman for the Castanets. He quit school at 15 to travel on a Greyhound bus through the US for 4 years to get the "experience" to start writing music. I'm lovin the lyrics..who says you need anything past a grade 9/10 education??
