Here I am!
Wow. I don't believe it! This chica made it to the "big city". It's pretty amazing...I wonder if people are getting annoyed with me constantly pointing out the mountains, the fresh air, the amount of people...I guess thats what happens when a prairie grrl makes it out to somewhere like Vancouver.
So I've been staying at casa Mt Burnaby the last couple of days with Guy, Laura, & Jono. They live on the Simon Fraser campus in a pretty sweet appt. (I'll post some pics soon) It's so beautiful up here! (A bit of a trek from downtown Van however) I really dig the quiet, the clean air, the "student" watching. It's strange to not be at work right now! Oh but I relish...
Today I get to check out some kool shops on Commercial Dr with Jono & Laura where later this evening I'll be hooking up with my lil bro Brent to stay at his place. He lives right downtown on Pacific & literally 10 min walk from the beach. I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE THE OCEAN!!
So more posting latR kool katz, with some pics soon as well. (My folks dig. camera RAWKS!)
Heh anyone give me an update on how the race went? What did people eat? Did Jordy make the hummus? I sure did miss the gang on Tues!! Boo to the Paolos!

Jordy made the hummus! Shumon & Vad made sushi, Blair brought jerk chicken, Marla did nachos & salsa, and I brought chocolate chip cookies.
And since it's race night again - stuffed mushrooms, dill havarti & crackers, and...um...melba toast. Because I forgot my cheese. Boo the Paolos!
