Sorry I disappeared
Yes I know it's been like a week since I've posted but I've been so caught up in life's ugly side. Work has been horribly busy (we average about 150 boxes coming in a week!) & with my gimped out finger it wasn't fun. But it's better now thank you for asking...yet only to be replaced with this half-flu thing that just won't go away or kick in. I'm in runny nose purgatory!
Also my uncle is back in the hospital. Those of you who don't know, he's had multiple surgeries since last Jan (yesterday's made #8) for colitis which involved removing his large bowel & colon. He lives with a colostomy bag & was pretty much on the mend to have that removed & put internally. But he had what they thought was an obstruction in his small intestine (which is quite common to happen I guess) but the doctors in both Moose Jaw & Gravelbourg misdiagnosed him to having "only the flu". My aunt had the sense after 12 hours of him in agony & vomiting to rush him to Saskatoon where within minutes of an x-ray they concluded he needed emergency surgery. I can't describe to you all the fustration I have with certain physicians that can't f'n read an x-ray or take the time to actually DIAGNOSE!
Thankfully, his intestine was only twisted & no removal of it had to be made. He'll still be in the hospital for 2 weeks but at least he'll be somewhat ok.
In other news my sis is stressed with school. She thinks she blew her entry into pharmacy.
So yeah people I need your good vibes this way. I'm ok. I'm not "moping" around, I just have alot on my mind, & sometimes it's hard to be Andrea the Rock.
I don't quite believe in prayer but if any of you out there wanna take the time to put out some healing goodness for me & my family....
....oh & I miss you Vancouverites very very much! (& Lloydminster-bound)
