Amazing Race Style

So tonight premieres the new season of "The Amazing Race" on CTV. For those of you who are unfamiliar, it's a reality series that pits teams against each other to race around the world for a million dollar cash prize (among others along the way). The last team to arrive at a "pit stop" is then eliminated. This year's rendition is the family edition where teams of 4 (?) fam. members compete.

I can't wait!! A group of us get together each week to yell at the tv screen & eat glorious amounts of foody goodness, while rooting for our "picked" teams. Sadly we are 3 less this year as Jono, Dan, & Laura have moved away...we'll have to set up some sort of phone/web connection!

This week lines up to be quite busy for me before I leave on my trip. I'm managing the store while Dallas is away for the next 3 days (god help us this morning, every elderly person alive in SK will be at our doors for Corner Gas S2!!), KMFDM is coming up, Shu's party is on Sat, & Sunday/Monday is spent packing/freaking out.

Anyways off to work I go. It's been so nice lately to not have to receive. Vanessa is rockin the casbah on that front...man she rocks!! A toast to my grrl!!
