**The new Brand New cd....GEEZ! These guys def. upped it from the last one!!! LOVE IT.

**Jakalope is playing here at the Roxy on the 30th. I'm psyched to see the lil hottie!

**Work is suprisingly less stressy than I imagined...my staff is kickin it & my visit from my boss yesterday left me feeling pretty damn special with all the praises we got. HECK YA!

**Jordy & I hit 5 years of togetherness this Sat. We're out for a specially customized vegetarian 5 course meal at the restaurant that's in Emily's old spot on Broadway (can't remember what it's called??) It's so kool that the chef/owner of the place is making this sepcial just for us & he uses all local produce. YAY!

**I think I've got the style of dress down for our wedding picked out after lots of stress of "not being able to find it" The world of brides is full of shitty-ass dresses!!! I don't want to be in yards of material that poofs out 4 ft around me! But YES I found something very kickass. Pics to come shortly.

Coming together

Well this is interesting...I've updated to the "new" blogger version & I' m a wee bit confuzzled.
Sorry I've been MIA lately but this virus that's pandemic-ing my area has claimed me in its gut-twisting coils. I've spent that last 4 days trapped in my house to be close to my own toilet eating broth & crackers praying for the "expelling" to stop.

& it finally has!

I'm excited to be going out side today...even excited to go to work tomorrow *WHAT>!*
I pray, however, that this thing doesn't claim my sweet Jordy who seems to be immune yet so far even though the source of it comes from the hotel he works in. People are dropping like flies! It's really creepy how fast a disease can spread & it doesn't help that everyone is waiting for "the next plague". Love that gov't fear induced propaganda. Thankfully this "virus" only lasts 2-3 days at its worst so I'm over the hump!

Lots of wedding plans are in effect admist plans for Mexico. Today I go & have my passport filled out. It's too bad I look like pastey death for the pic but heh they're not suppose to look flattering I'm told. Sunday brings Jordy & I to the Unitarian Church here in S'toon to find an officiant for the wedding. We've chose this route for it's multi-faith & being we don't belong to one (I don't know if I ever will?) it seems the best option. A little nervous, however, to be walking into unknown territory. But hey, what's the worst that can happen? A burning bush from god forcing me to believe?

An a final note>>> Sparta's latest genius is kicking my ASS! I cannot get enough of this latest disc ...I think I like it better than Porcelain? *yes I know that's huge* It's good...cannot wait for the latest Killswitch as well...Arnie blessed me with a sampler of 3 tracks but it's just not enough!!

Countdown to Vacation Madness

So work is nutzo right now. We're getting so many boxes & no room to put it all...why do I forget each year how crazy it is?? I'm miffed that I'm not getting the new fixtures for my store as promised which means I have nothing to merchandise all the new stock. ACK! Save me sister!

Anyways, I was uber stressed today. I'm tired of constantly THINKING. & not about music or what I'm gonna do with my spare time...it's about "conversion" & "best practices".
Then I had a good workout & upon kicking my own ass on the stationary bike I thought "Hey you're gonna be in Mexico soon! Who cares bout all this trivial stuff!" So yeah I've got a new headspace, some new CDs *god bless play copy splits!*, & I found this picture of Puerto Vallarta...sheesh & I was gonna make fun of Jordy wanting to wear his Speedo...I'm afraid he'll fit right in!! So when I'm feeling down, I'll just remember this .... wierd picture I found upon keywording "Mexico Vallarta" on Google...

What turns my crank!

Just purchased this yesterday...makes my teeth grind something FIERCE!! The first track was described to me as being able to peel the paint from your walls. LUV IT!!! It makes riding the bus WAY more bearable when this is pounding in my headphones.

Cannot wait for the new Brand New cd...I'm digging the single alright!
